At the Serbia-Italy Business Forum held on 31 January 2025 — attended by more than 500 Italian and Serbian entrepreneurs — the main round-table topics focused on circular economy, energy transition and industrial innovation.

The round table dedicated to circular economy, attended by Michele Rossini, founder of Ekonsortium, drew strong participation. Alongside two ministers — Irena Vujović (Environmental Protection) and Dubravka Đedović Handanović (Mining and Energy) — Rossini took part in round tables and bilateral meetings with representatives of institutions and businesses, illustrating Ekonsortium's role in promoting environmental sustainability and circular economy between Italy and Serbia.

Ekonsortium, a non-profit consortium based in Belgrade, brings together Italian and Serbian companies committed to reducing the environmental impact of production processes through industrial waste recycling and the implementation of sustainable development models.

"Ekonsortium's participation in this Forum was a unique opportunity to strengthen cooperation between Italian and Serbian companies in the sustainability sector," said Michele Rossini. "Our commitment is to create an industrial ecosystem in which companies can adopt responsible practices, improving resource efficiency and promoting circular economy models," he concluded.
